Size and requirements: what the phone must have

Before an app is tapped, three things decide whether it will install: the size, the version of the phone's software and the language. The store pages state them, and each also states an age or content label. This page reads those lines on 6 November 2026 for the 4 listings.

Size, system, languages and labels

As each page states them; “not shown on the page” means the public page does not give the figure. Pages read here: FxPro cTrader and cTrader in Nigeria.

Size

FxPro cTrader: 247.4 MB on the App Store, which is 247,363,584 bytes, or 0.25 GB. cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts: 252.1 MB on the App Store, which is 252,069,888 bytes, or 0.25 GB. The Google Play web pages read here do not show a size, so this site has no size for the Play listings and does not estimate one.

A larger download is not a worse one. The number matters when the phone is short of room or the connection is metered.

The system it needs

FxPro cTrader on Google Play: a minimum API level of 29, which is Android 10; FxPro cTrader on the App Store: “Requires iOS 15.0 or later.” for iPhone and “Requires iPadOS 15.0 or later.” for iPad; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on Google Play: a minimum API level of 29, which is Android 10; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on the App Store: “Requires iOS 15.0 or later.” for iPhone and “Requires iPadOS 15.0 or later.” for iPad.

“iOS 15.0 or later” is a floor: that version of the phone's software or a newer one. Play's floor is an API level in the page data and not visible text, translated with the published mapping (29 is Android 10; 24 is Android 7.0). Builds for older phones are not described by the page.

Languages

The App Store lists the languages of each app. FxPro cTrader: English and 22 more; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts: English and 22 more. The first languages listed for FxPro cTrader are English, Arabic, Czech, French, German, Greek, Hungarian and Indonesian. The Play pages read here do not list the interface languages in the public text, so the table shows none for them.

A language list is a statement by the developer about the app's interface. It does not say that the broker's support, documents or account pages exist in the same languages.

Price and purchases

FxPro cTrader on Google Play: a price of 0 in NGN; FxPro cTrader on the App Store: “Free”, with no in-app purchases shelf; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on Google Play: a price of 0 in NGN; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on the App Store: “Free”, with no in-app purchases shelf.

A zero price is the price of the installer. What trading costs is not stated on a store page, and the broker's fee pages could not be read from here on 6 November 2026, so no cost appears anywhere on this site; the Play text extracted shows no in-app purchase notice.

Age and content labels

FxPro cTrader (Google Play): Rated for 3+; FxPro cTrader (App Store): 16+; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play): Rated for 3+; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store): 16+.

Different rating systems stand behind the two labels and the pages leave the difference unexplained. A label says how content is rated; whether a person of a given age may trade is for the account's terms.

Downloads and where they are shown

Google Play states a download bracket: FxPro cTrader: 100K+; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts: 1M+. A bracket is a floor: “100K+” means at least 100,000. The App Store does not show a download count on the page; it shows the number of ratings instead. Comparing a bracket with a number of ratings and drawing a conclusion would be comparing two different things.

How old the listings are

FxPro cTrader: first published 28 April 2014; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts: first published 10 February 2014. FxPro cTrader on the App Store: released 5 May 2014; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on the App Store: released 5 December 2013.

The date a listing first appeared says how old the page is, and says nothing about the company's age or the software's development history.

Android versions and API levels

In the page data the minimum system is an API level (API level 29 is Android 10). It numbers Android's programming interface, higher for newer software. How many phones in Nigeria fall below it is not known here and not guessed.

How to read a download bracket

Google Play does not print an exact install count; it prints the floor of a bracket. FxPro cTrader: “100K+” means at least 100,000; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts: “1M+” means at least 1,000,000. Brackets step up through round numbers, so one bracket can cover a wide spread: “10M+” covers everything from ten million up to just short of the next step. The page does not say whether a bracket counts one country or all, and this site reads it as printed.

The trading account

An app listing is not an account

Everything on this site stops at the store page. The step after it, a live account, comes with identity checks and terms that sit outside any app. The broker page is the place to read about it first, and only money you can afford to lose should ever be at risk.
